Creating a VoiceThread (for VT 'Create' Assignments )
This article is a guide for students to create a VoiceThread for submission to a VoiceThread ‘Create’ type assignment.
Creating a VoiceThread
Within your HuskyCT course, navigate to and click on the VoiceThread (VT) Assignment link.
From the right side panel, click Start assignment.
From the Let’s Get Started, add, record, copy, or link materials or recordings that will serve as the VoiceThread slide content.
You can continue adding other media as slides for your VoiceThread by clicking the + Add media button.
Once you’ve finished adding slide media, click Continue.
Next, you can add “Comments” which will overlay the VoiceThread slides. Click the speech bubble icon to open the available commenting options. For further detail, see Commenting on a VoiceThread.
You can use the arrows to navigate between your slides.
After you’ve recorded a Comment, it will appear on the left-side commenting panel with your initials or profile image. Clicking on the Comment square, will play the Comment.
Once you have finished adding Comments, check to make sure all participation requirements have been met. If they have been met, it will be indicated by a green check mark on the right side panel. Lastly, click Submit to submit your VoiceThread assignment.
If the instructor has enabled the Student Gallery, your VoiceThread will be visible to other students in the course.
