Using the HuskyCT Course Request Form: Non-Class Site

This article is intended for instructors looking to request a non-class site. These sites are not linked with any course listed in Student Admin (PeopleSoft) and should only be used for development shells, templates or other non-class organizations.

If you need to request your official HuskyCT site for your class via Student Admin, please refer to Requesting HuskyCT Courses (Instructors)

Requesting a Non-Class Site

  1. Navigate to https://s.uconn.edu/courserequest.

  2. If prompted, enter your NetID and NetID password.

  3. Under Request Type, check Create a new Non-Class Course (not be used used for copying content).

  4. Under Non-Class Information

    1. Enter the Name of the Site: The name that will appear on HuskyCT

    2. Enter the Purpose of the Site: A brief description of the site that will appear under Description in HuskyCT

    3. Select the Site Type: Determines if the site is a Course or Organization. It will change where the site appears, under either Courses or Organizations.

    4. Select the Site View: This determines if the site is an Original Course View or the new Ultra Course View

    5. Select if the site is affiliated with UConn Health: This makes specific UConn Health options available. Do not select this option unless you are affiliated with UConn Health

    6. Optionally, provide a list of users to enroll in the site: Provide a CSV of NetIDs for the HuskyCT team to enroll in the course

    7. Read and verify that you understand this is an unofficial site and check I Understand

  5. Under Additional Information, enter any comments
