Requesting a HuskyCT Non-Class or Organization Site

While most HuskyCT sites are associated with academic classes listed in the Student Admin System (PeopleSoft), HuskyCT sites can also be created for other purposes, such as training activities, group collaboration, information gathering, and resource sharing.

Faculty, students, and staff can request a HuskyCT non-class or organization site in HuskyCT by following the steps below.

  1. Access the HuskyCT Course Request Form. At the bottom of the article, click on the HuskyCT Course Request Form link.

  2. Follow the prompts on the form.

    1. Raise this request on behalf of: Ensure the request is being raised on behalf of the correct instructor.

    2. Request type: Ensure ‘Create a new Non-Class site’ is selected.

    3. Name for the site: Create a name for the Non-Class site.

    4. Purpose of site: Provide a short explanation for the site.

    5. Site Type: Select the site type. Instructor can choose between a Course or an Organization.

    6. Initial User Enrollment: Non-class sites do not have automatic enrollment, however, one can upload a list of users with their NetID and intended role.

  3. Click Send at the bottom of the page.
