Using the HuskyCT Course Request Form: Combining Sections

This article is intended for instructors looking to merge or combined sections. For more information about merged or combined sections, refer to: How a Combined Section Works in HuskyCT

This function will only combine two or more course sections together. If you want to combine courses AND have content copied over (restored) into the combined section, please refer to HuskyCT Course Restore.

Combining Sections

  1. Navigate to https://s.uconn.edu/courserequest.

  2. At the bottom of the page, click the link for “HuskyCT Course Copy Request Form”

  3. Then, if prompted, enter your NetID and NetID password.

  4. From the form, under Request Type, check Course Combine ONLY (no content to be restored).

  5. Under Course Combination Options, enter the Semester and Year of the course to be combined.

  6. Under Courses to Combine, enter the Subject, Catalog Number and Section number for the courses you want merged into one site. Enter each course on its own line, click Add to enter a new line.

  7. Under Additional Information, enter any comments.
