Delegated Grading in Ultra Course View

For Original Course View:

Instructors can use delegated grading in their courses.

Delegated grading occurs when the instructor of a course assigns users called delegated graders to provide provisional grades. Rather than having the instructor grade the assignment, delegated graders can provide grades and feedback that the instructor can later review and reconcile.

Each instructor and final grader has the ability to view what scores, feedback, annotations, and private notes other graders provided. Graders and teaching assistants who are not final graders can only access this information if you grant them permission when you create an assignment. If allowed, a grader can view the file annotations made by another grader and add more.

  1. Click on the Edit option in the assignment or test you want to add Delegated Grading.

  1. Click on Change Grade Posting settings option in the Grading section of Assignment Settings.

  2. Click on Delegated Grading option under Evaluation Options.

  3. Click on Assign Graders.

  4. Choose the group set from which you want to assign graders.

  5. Assign graders for each group and then click on Submit.
