Grading Discussions in Ultra Course View

This article is intended for instructors looking to grade discussion boards in Ultra Course View.

  1. Navigate to your course in HuskyCT.

  2. On the top navigation menu, click Gradebook.

  3. Find the Discussion Board you want to grade, and click on the name .

  4. You will see a list of student submissions, click on the student you want to grade.

  5. You will see the prompt, the student’s post, and the Discussion Analysis for the student and the average of the class.

  6. After reviewing the students post, and the Discussion Analysis, you can enter a grade and optionally feedback to the students.

    1. Grading- Click the small white oval, located above the Discussion Analysis to enter a grade for the Discussion.

    2. Feedback (Optional)- Click the small box with a plus, located next to the student grade to give feedback. A new window will open where you can type your feedback, then click Save.
