Upcoming Changes to Student Administration System Interface

An upgrade to PeopleTools (version 8.59) scheduled for November 19, 2022, will introduce some changes to the user interface.

Action Required for Access
After the upgrade, all users must clear their browser cache to successfully log in to the system. If they do not, they will see a “401 Error Unauthorized Access” screen.

Homepage Changes

  • The Global Search Bar functionality has moved to the middle of the bar.

  • The Homepage Selector will move to the top left just below the banner.  

  • A homepage toggle will be added on the top right.  

  • Recently Visited (clock icon) and Favorites (heart icon) will be accessed with one click on the left side.  

Menu/Navigation Changes

When you manually type an action in a field, you must click the magnifying glass when you are finished; neither hitting ENTER nor tabbing out of the field returns the related value.

  • You can change the menu sort order back to "Alphabetical" from Settings (gear icon) in the NavBar.

  • Breadcrumbs in the Menu will allow you to easily see your navigation path and go back to a previous folder. 

  • The NavBar icon will change slightly but is located in the same place.  

  • The Notifications icon will be a bell instead of a flag. 

  • The Navigator will be renamed to Menu and the icon will change.  

New! Personalization options for Homepages and NavBar are available.
