Discounts on Personal Device Purchases
Faculty, staff, and students can get a discount on personal devices through either the Dell Member Purchase Program (only Dell products) or through Connection (contract pricing on Dell, Apple, and other products).
Dell Member Purchase Program
The Dell Member Purchase Program offers discounts to the UConn community on personal computer purchases. Anyone with a UConn email address qualifies.
This program is for personal, non-work devices. The devices cannot be purchased and then claimed as university expenses. If you are an employee who needs a university-issued device, please use HuskyBuy or contact your department. If you have questions, please contact the Technology Support Center.

At the bottom of the page, click the Verify Email button under student
Faculty, staff, and students must use the verify email option under “Student.” Choosing verify email under “Employee” will result in an error at the next page.
Enter your UConn email address, accept the terms, verify Captcha, and click Submit.
You will receive an email from Dell with a one time coupon code and a link to access the sales website:

Dell and Apple Devices and Peripheral on Connection
UConn faculty, staff, and students may purchase Apple and Dell devices as well as other IT products for personal use at UConn contract pricing through UConn’s partnership with Connection.

Set up your account for the first time
Click First Time User. Click Log In if you already have an account.
Enter in your information to create your account. When you get to the email field, enter your @uconn.edu address.
Go to your email and open the message from Connection. Click the link in the message to activate your account.
You’ll return to the Connection website. Finish creating your account by setting up a password.
You now have access to a page that lists the products available at contract pricing.
