Microsoft Office and Outlook Add-In
KnowledgeLake has Microsoft Office and Outlook Plug-Ins available to streamline upload procedures. It allows the upload of documents within Office products (such as Word or Excel) without leaving the application. To request access, please send an email to techsupport@uconn.edu to create a ticket.
Once the requested user has been added to the group, please allow 24-48 hours for the add-in to appear.
Plugins are available for both Outlook, and the greater Office suite of applications. When requesting the Add-In, remember to specify if you need the Outlook plugin, the Office plugin, or both. This guide shows the Outlook version, but steps are applicable to both versions.
The Add-in will appear on the righthand side of your home ribbon bar in Outlook, potentially requiring a restart of the application:
Selecting the add-in will prompt a login:
Select the UConn Azure catalog and login with your http://uconn.edu email:
This will populate the index panel as it appears in KnowledgeLake:
