Adding Links to the Main Course Menu

This article is for faculty and staff seeking information regarding adding links to the main left-hand navigation menu in their HuskyCT site. 

  1. Turn on Edit Mode.

    Note: Whenever you want to work on your course and make changes, Edit Mode must be turned on. This button is found at the upper right-hand corner of your screen on a course site where you are the instructor.

  2. Click on the + icon at the upper left-hand corner of the course menu.

  3. Choose the type of link you want to add. The most commonly used types are circled in the image below.

  4. Type in a name for the link in the Name field.

  5. Check Available to Users to make the link available to students.

  6. Click Submit.
