Mid-year GA Position Change

If a GA is employed by a department and is moving mid-year to a new position, for example being hired as a Post Doc, they can be separated mid-year, but the grad will need to be enrolled in 6 credits for the fall semester (and spring if applicable), and will have to pay the student fees for the term.

They will need to submit an Alternate Completion Date Request form when they submit their materials to Degree Audit - the Grad School will need to align the degree completion and GA separation and lock in their tuition waiver. Please do not process a separation for the GA until that form has been completely approved.
