Instructions

General guidelines

  • Write in clear print. Messy handwriting will not be legible.

  • Use a dark pencil. You do not need to use a #2 pencil. If you will be using the back-side of the exam sheet (for an exam with 101+ questions), make sure that your pencil does not bleed through to the back side as it may be picked up when being scanned.

  • Fill in bubbles fully.

  • Completely erase mistake answers and stray marks. Crossing out a mistake will not cause it to be ignored when scanned. In the example below, note how question 4 was fully changed from answer D to E.

Identification questions

  • Name: Print your full name as it is displayed on HuskyCT. The scanning software will use this field to match you up with your exam submission.

  • ID: Print your 7-digit PeopleSoft number. If there is an issue matching up names, your instructor will use this to validate which exam belongs to whom.

  • Version: If there are multiple versions of the exam being proctored, fill in which version you have (A-E). Your professor will tell you if you need to fill this out.

  • Section: Fill this out as appropriate if your instructor requires it.

  • Date: Fill this out if your instructor requires it.
