Discussion items
Item | Notes |
---|---|
Cloud Trial - Number of user restrictions? | Does our current 1000 user license apply to the Cloud? |
Cloud Trial - Begin on 2/25/21 (for full 12 months)? | Confirmed. |
Cloud Trial Testing - How does our Atlassian Access and Cloud license impact existing Cloud instances & users? | UConn has claimed the uconn.edu domain. All users may be managed via Atlassian Access. Other departments have existing (free and paid) Cloud instances. What is the functionality, financial & licensing impact? Existing departmental Cloud users will remain Site Admin of their instance. They are included as a Billable User When SSO is enabled, it will impact their account (to NetID accounts). We must communicate with them prior to testing SSO. |
Cloud user management/Atlassian Access | Atlassian Managed Accounts |
**For Procurement - ITS licensing and other departmental licenses. | Other departments have existing paid Cloud instances. What is the financial & licensing impact? |
Campus-wide read access | All active NetIDs can read without consuming licenses, for knowledge base articles that contain proprietary information for UConn. |
Confluence issue: Authenticated, unlicensed users receive error when accessing KB. Desire to treat non-licensed users as anonymous. | Atlassian on Confluence: Allow unlicensed, authenticated users to have anonymous read only access |
