Migration to Atlassian Cloud

I am writing to share that ITS will be migrating Jira and Confluence to the Atlassian Cloud starting on Friday, January 7, 2022. This migration includes the ITS ticketing system (Jira) and the UConn Knowledge Base (Confluence). The process may take up to one week from the start date.

Jira and Confluence are currently hosted in the UConn data center. Before the migration, ITS will freeze the data on this environment and make it viewable but not editable to end users. When the migration is complete, we will transition to the cloud and enable editing.

The functionality of the cloud applications is similar to their on-premises versions. We will send you a link to the test environment soon so that you can try out the cloud applications and will also provide you with more information about the conversion.
