Faculty Raises - Promotional/Base/Admin Supplement

Question: Are raises applied to all salary components proportionally, including admin supplement?

Answer: Correct, EXCEPT promotional amounts. Promotional amounts are only applied to base. This means that if an employee getting a promotion also happens to have one or two additional months, than those components need to be adjusted (up) manually via SHR after the CBI cycle.

For reporting purposes (reporting to the union) we ONLY apply the contractual promo amount. We leave it to the dept to correct.

For Personnel returning to a Faculty position, the raises and percentage of components is based on using more than whole numbers for faculty. We will use two decimal places.
