NTT Non-Renewal/Renewal Letters & Date Information

 

  • Nonrenewals

    • According to the AAUP contract, notice of non-renewal of a one-year appointment shall be afforded according to the schedule listed below.

      • Probationary employees shall receive fourteen (14) calendar days’ notice

      • After one (1) year of probationary employment, thirty (30) calendar days’ notice;

      • After one (1) year of non-probationary employment: sixty (60) calendar days’ notice;

      • After continuous non-probationary employment of three (3) or more years: one hundred twenty (120) calendar days’ notice;

  • Renewals

    • Renewals don't need to be a full year, they can be a few months at a time - (e.g., if there is a grant that only goes through that time)

    • Renewal letters that are done before the CBI, use current salary and add “plus applicable collective bargaining increases”

    • Multi-Year appointments are going to be done in 3 year increments per Dean Harel 10.28.24
