Printer Policy (UConn Print Server Printers)

The main printers in each suite have a code on the front for service. Most of the departments handle these themselves but they are there if needed. We do not repair printers on contracts past removing jams or restarting the machine. If there is any issue that involves removing parts other than replacing toner, staples, and or waste containers they will need to be sent to the company that services the machine (CBS).  

We also do handle adding printing codes, adding names and emails to the address book, getting print counts at the end of the year, and installing drivers from our print server (\\sbprintoo.business.uconn.edu) for school owned windows machines. For Macs and personal machines (which should only be added in limited circumstances) the driver can be downloaded from the manufacturers website.
