Definition/Usage

Term Units Taken Toward Academic Load is the sum of credits a student has taken for the given term. The student receives credit upon successful completion (satisfactory grade) of the course.

Student #123456 enrolls in the following classes for Spring 2024:

CHEM 1122 (see CHEM LAB)

CHEM 1122 LAB 4

ENGL 1107 3

This student enrolled in 13 credits and will show 13 credits in Term Units Taken for Academic Load. If this student receives an unsatisfactory grade in any of these classes, they will not earn credit for the class. Their Term Units Taken for Academic Load will remain at 13 but their Term Units Earned Towards Academic Load will be 10.
