Setting up YubiKey/Devices (2FA)

Open your web browser and go to https://netid.uconn.edu/
Sign in using your credentials (NetID and password) to log into your account.
Locate and click on the drop-down menu labeled “My NetID” and select “Manage 2FA” to go the management page.
In the 2FA management page, locate and click on the “Manage Devices” tab.
Under “My Settings & Devices” select “+Add another device”. This will prompt you to select the type of device you would like to add to your 2FA.
Select “Security Key (YubiKey, Feitian, etc.)” or the one the applies to you and click “Continue”
If using the YubiKey insert into available USB-C port on your device. If using mobile device then your steps to setting up the 2FA are complete.
For the YubiKey: Under “Enroll your Security screen” select “continue and a pop up window will appear prompting you to finish the YubiKey enrollment.
When complete you will be able to view the passkey listed under your devices.
