NTIA Laptop Setup

Please begin by watching the video below to setup your laptop.

Ensure you have these items:

• Laptop

• Charger

• Power brick

• Hotspot

• Hotspot charger

Now that you’ve finished watching the video, let’s proceed with the password setup to complete the setup process.

1. On the login page select your assigned NetID and enter the temporary password.
   Temporary Password: Applesauce1

2. Next, click on the top right drop down menu and select “Settings”.

3. In the Settings menu, scroll down until you find “Users” and select it.

4. Once on the Users window, locate and click on “Password”.

   1. This action will open the change password menu where you will enter the temporary password as the “current password” and then set your preferred new password.

5. Once you have successfully established your new password, the setup process is now complete.
