Using Epson Document Camera with PC or Mac to Record

Many classrooms are equipped with document cameras that can be connected to PC and Macs for recording.

  1. Install Twain Driver and the Easy Interactive Tools software from the disk that is included with the document camera or visit this Epson support page

    1. If installing from the web link,

      1. Make sure the correct operating system is selected for software download.

      2. Download.

  2. Once the driver and disk are installed, you can connect the document camera to the PC using a USB-A to USB-B cable.

  3. Press the Power button on the document camera. It will turn blue when the power is on.

  4. Open the Easy Interactive Tools software. It will open in whiteboard annotation mode.  

  5. Click on the Other Tools tab on the bottom menu bar.

  6. Click on the Camera tab.

  7. When you are ready to record, hit the Record button. You will be prompted to enter a file name. Once entered, the recording will begin.

  8. To stop the recording, hit the Stop button.
