Request to become an Authorized User

Becoming an Authorized User | Office of the Bursar (uconn.edu)

 

  1. Visit Office of the Bursar website (bursar.uconn.edu).

  2. Scroll down and click on “Authorized User Login.”

  3. Click “Create New Account”

  4. Click “No”

    Create your Authorized User Account.

  6. Once you fill out the information, you will move to the next window “Account Created.” Click the “Verify Email” button below to verify your account and get started.

  7. Login to Flywire with email address/password.

  8. Next, the Authorized User is required to verify the student’s ID (7-digit people soft number) and date of birth. The students ID (7-digit people soft number) can be found in Student Admin or on the student's photo ID.

  9. Flywire sends an email to the students uconn.edu account indicating that the Authorized User has requested access to the student’s account in Flywire. Once approved, the Authorized User receives email notification that the student approved, and the Authorized User is ready to login.

  10. Top right of your screen, click “My Account” and then “Notifications”.

  11. After clicking “Notifications” complete the email and text field. Then click “I have read, understood, and agree to the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy”. Then click “Update”.

** If the Authorized User forgot their password, they would need to login to Manage Your University of Connecticut Account (myonplanu.com) to reset. Please check inbox, spam, junk and promotions folder in email, for the reset password email.
