Security Concerns Regarding Zoom

This article is for students, faculty, and staff seeking information regarding security concerns pertaining to the use of Zoom web and video conferencing software. As indicated on the page Using Zoom Securely, Zoom software (provided by the company Zoom Video Communications) is not sanctioned by ITS. However, ITS understands that circumstances and preferences may call for the use of Zoom despite this. Due to the recent COVID-19 pandemic, schools and workplaces nationwide have done away with conducting school and work in person, opting for remote work in an effort to curb the virus.
