This article will show how to use the UConn VPN if you are not admin of your machine.

Install Pulse VPN

In order to get direct access, you must first connect to UConn VPN.

  1. Go to microsoft store
  2. Search "Pulse Secure"
  3. Select "Get"
  4. If prompted to login, select "No Thanks"
  5. After install, go to VPN Settings
  6. Add VPN Connection
  7. Select Pulse Secure with the following:
    1. Name: Just a label of your choice
    2. Server name: vpn.uconn.edu
  8. Save and click "connect"
  9. Enter your netid and password when prompted
