Faculty, students, and staff can join a personal Webex Room from a Video Conferencing System that is built into a UConn Room by the provided instructions below. Users should ask the host to follow this guide so that they may provide the link to dial from the UConn Room.
Unless the host has manually changed their Personal Room name, the link required to dial in and join their personal room will have the format [the host's NetID]@uconn-cmr.webex.com.

Setting Up a UConn Room with the TouchPanel
To set up a UConn Room with the TouchPanel,
Tap the TouchPanel once to wake it up, if the TouchPanel is off or the display is completely black.
Tap again on the white UCONN screen.
Select Video Conference from the Sources page.
On the Dial Keypad screen, tap on the Letter Keypad button, located below the numbers.
Use the letter keyboard to type in the link for the Personal Room. You can use the hyphen and period as needed.

Have your Host follow these instructions if they do not know their Personal Room join address.
Go to webex.uconn.edu.
Click the green UConn Webex Login button.

Click the blue Sign In button in the top-right corner of the window.
Enter your UConn NetID to sign in.
You will be brought to your Webex home page. Click the More ways to join link under your name for your Personal Room information.
A context menu will appear. In the section Join by video system, there is an address after the word “Dial”. This is the link that the host will need to share with the participants so that they may dial it in the UConn video conferencing system to join the Personal Room (example: netID@uconn-cmr.Webex.com ).
