Web/Video Conferencing and Lecture Capture/ Streaming
Instructors at UConn can set up web/video conferencing and lecture capture/streaming.
Academic IT (AIT) provides technical solutions for both synchronous and asynchronous content delivery. They focus on assisting faculty to effectively integrate these technologies into their courses or seminars.
Synchronous
Video conferencing classrooms are located at every campus. The systems allow UConn to connect one or more sites regionally, nationally, and internationally for scheduled classes, administrative meetings, and other conferences.

Asynchronous, One-Way Streaming, and Recording
UConn uses Kaltura for lecture capture and streaming/recording. All classrooms have the necessary technology to record lectures ad hoc. Certain classrooms also have live-streaming capability. To learn which rooms have live-streaming capabilities, navigate to classrooms.uconn.edu.
