LCI Defined Responsibilities (Director of Academic Affairs & Associate Campus Director)

  • Verify requestors are LCI Students

  • Determine loan period length (default is end of current semester)

  • Approve device loan requests

  • Approve requests for extensions on loan

  • Contact users in the event they are non-responsive to the ticketing system

  • Report devices missing to appropriate department if not returned

Stamford ITS Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the loan process

  • Schedule device sign-out once approved

  • Send reminders through ticketing system when device is due

  • Receive returned device and update ticket

  • Provide support if user experiences any technical issues with laptop

  • Handle maintenance of laptops
