EMS Room Scheduling

UConn’s Event Management System (EMS) is where workspaces, classrooms, meeting venues, or other campus spaces can be reserved. At this time, spaces can be reserved by UConn faculty/staff only. All UConn staff, faculty, students, and affiliates - anyone with a Net ID - is able to view existing scheduled reservations for publicly visible spaces within EMS.

In order to reserve an available space, you will need to use a Reservation Template. Only UConn faculty/staff have access to reservation templates.

Reservation Templates

Reservation templates differ depending on the type of space being reserved and the department reserving it. You can view your reservation templates on the home page of your EMS Web portal.

The reservation template available to you depends on the department you are affiliated with, as well as your university affiliation (faculty, staff, special payroll, etc.).

If the template you are using is listed as a Request, your reservation template functions as a booking request and your reservation will be complete upon department approval. For detailed instructions, visit
