Searching for an Asset

Staff can search for an asset on the Assets page in Kuali Financials (KFS).  

1. Navigate to the Assets page. 

2. Click Asset.

3. To search for multiple assets, enter the pipe symbol between each asset, as shown in the field highlighted below.  

   Open

   

All tag numbers you include in your search will show up in the Search Results section. 

Asset Status Codes

• A – Active, Capital Equipment 

• N - Active, Controllable Property 

• D – Active, Non-Capital FY11 

• R – Retired, Capital Equipment 

• O – Retired, Non-Capital Equipment
