The spreadsheet ingest module allows you to add many content items to the repository using a spreadsheet provided by the CTDA and does not require files to be compressed into individual zip packages.

What You Need to Know Before You Start

The spreadsheet ingest process involves using software beyond the browser based tools available in the repository. Throughout this process you will use:

• UConn ITS VPN Client

• FTP Client (suggested client is FileZilla but you can use any FTP client you prefer)

• Google Sheets

You will also need to obtain a UConn Net ID (with the help from CTDA Staff) to complete this process. Your Net ID is different that your usual CTDA username.

You should also contact the CTDA to set up an instruction session before the first time you use spreadsheet ingest.
