InfoAssist provides WebFOCUS users with a simple-to-use reporting tool, capable of creating robust reports and providing insightful analysis.


According to the WebFOCUS InfoAssist User's Manual, users can quickly and easily:

  • Generate highly complex reports, charts, visualizations, and documents from any enterprise information source without IT intervention.
  • Complete tasks, such as building a report, with minimal clicks.
  • Create useful and dynamic visualizations, giving you greater insight into your data.
  • Create maps to illustrate trends and identify patterns in your data.
  • Convert reports to charts, or charts to reports, in a single click.
  • Analyze multiple reports and charts simultaneously, using advanced tiling options to view data from multiple perspectives.
  • Browse enterprise-information sources, including multi-dimensional sources.
  • Output report to a variety of formats, including HTML, PDF, CSV, and Excel®.


Additionally, vendor videos are available for additional relevant information, such as: Getting Started Part I - Overview, as desired.  


If you manually edit a report created with InfoAssist, do not delete or modify the internal comments located at the top of the procedure. Modifying these comments, or any content of the procedure, could produce unpredictable results when you open the report with InfoAssist. In general, we do not recommend that you manually edit a procedure.
