This guide will show you how to allow other users to initiate your Personal Room without your help. This process must be done on the account of the person you would like to act as an alternate host for. This means you will likely have to ask someone else to complete this process for you (in their own account).
This is different than allowing others to schedule meetings for you. Information on delegating scheduling permission can be found here: Allow Others to Schedule Webex Meetings on your Behalf
Navigate to UConn Webex and sign in using your NetID. After signing in, you will be brought to your Webex Home page.
Click on Preferences in the left menu.
Click My Personal Room. Scroll to the "Alternate Host" section at the bottom.
Check the box next to Allow cohosts for my Personal Room meetings.
Select Let me choose cohosts for my Personal Room meetings.
Enter the UConn email addresses of the users you would like to be able to start your Personal Room without you present.
If you have trouble adding specific users, please have them follow the first-time setup guide to create their account in the UConn Webex system.
Click Save at the bottom of the page to save your settings.
Do not choose All attendees who have host accounts ... Personal Room meetings (the last choice). Every UConn Webex account is a Host account; enabling this option would give every UConn user control of your Personal Room.
