Individual Storage
Note |
---|
OneDrive accounts and the files stored in them are deleted when the user leaves the university (e.g. graduation, academic dismissal, or end of employment). For that reason department files should be stored in that department’s SharePoint siteWhen students graduate or when faculty/staff separate from the organization, they will lose access to their OneDrive / SharePoint files. Students should be sure to download any data they wish to keep before leaving UConn. |
Individual storage solutions, such as OneDrive, allow users to store their documents in an accessible location. By default Users may choose to share files and folders in OneDrive with others. OneDrive files are not shared, but users have the ability share files for collaboration if they chosedeleted 90 days after the owner’s account closes.
