UCONN-GUEST is a non-encrypted, non-secure wireless service that visitors to UConn who do not have NetID credentials may use to access the internet. It does not require NetID credentials to log in. Instead, users must accept terms and agreements. This connection resets every few hours.
Each time you connect to the Internet while using a hotspot and the UCONN-GUEST network, you need to log in.
You may need to connect your wireless device to UCONN-GUEST. Supported devices include:
Most gaming consoles, such as XBOX and Playstation
Apple TV
Smart TV’s
Roku, Firestick, Chromecast
Wireless Printers
Other Internet of Things devices (Smart assistants such as Amazon Echo, Google Home, lightbulbs, etc.)
Devices that do not have a web browser capable of accepting the Acceptable Use Policy must be registered to allow them to bypass the acceptable use policy page.
