WePresent is a wireless presentation device installed in classrooms that allows users to wirelessly share content to the displays in the classroom without being bound to the podium.
The WePresent device has been discontinued. Updates are no longer being released for this device and consequently your iPhone may not allow you to connect using AirPlay. If you cannot connect and would like to wirelessly share your screen, please contact techsupport@uconn.edu. ITS is in the process of exchanging these devices with newer units but has not reached every room yet. For instructions for the replacement, see AirServer Wireless Presentation Gateway.
Specifications
Supports Windows, Mac OS, iOS, Android, and Chrome OS (Linux).
Supports Apple AirPlay and Google Cast.
Support up to 1080p (standard HD) at 30 frames per second.
Up to 4 users (presenters) at a time.
Connecting
Tap on the touch screen to wake the classroom system.
Select the WePresent source.
Select the appropriate tab below for your operating system.
