Intro to the CTDA Workshop

Have you thought about joining the Connecticut Digital Archive (CTDA) community and wanted to know the work involved in getting your collections into the repository? Are you a new CTDA Community Member and need an overview of how the system works? Do you have new people at your institution that need training on using the repository? Do you need a refresher on CTDA procedures? Join us on Wednesday, October 30th at the Homer Babbidge Library for the first Introduction to the CTDA Workshop, led by Laura Smith and Mike Kemezis, to learn about getting started in the CTDA.

Topics discussed will include:

  • Overview of the CTDA program and systems

  • What to consider before you start adding content into the repository

  • Describing your digital object

  • Step-by-step demonstration of adding content into the CTDA

  • Information on joining the CTDA Community

Registration for this workshop is free.

A brief tour of the UConn Archives will be available after the workshop.

Directions to Room 1102 in the Library:

  • Enter the library and head towards the elevators or stairwell.

  • Go up one floor to the 1st Floor of the library.

  • Upon exiting the elevator or stairs, Room 1102 will be directly in front of you on your left.
