This article is for facultyFaculty, staff, students and student employees who wish to may access room calendars shared calendars (mostly for conference rooms) in Office 365 Web Access and in the Outlook Desktop Client.

The permissions granted to you determine your ability to update a calendar:

Open the Room Calendar in Office 365 Web Access
- Sign in to Office 365 Web Access by going to email.uconn.edu and clicking on Office 365.
- Log in with your:
- Login ID: UConn email address
- Password: Faculty, staff and students use their NetID password. Student workers use their student work account password.
- Once logged in, you will see the tiles for apps available to you. Click Explore All Your Apps.
- Click Calendar.
- Select Your Calendars on the left side of the window.
- Click the "+".
- Enter the resource number (i.e., resource4370) or display name (i.e., ~UITS - Help Center Training Schedule) of the calendar.
- Hit Enter.

Open the Room Calendar in Outlook Desktop Client
- Open the Outlook Desktop Client by clicking the Outlook icon on your computer. If you are prompted to log in, enter:
- Username: UConn email address
- Password: Faculty, staff and students use their NetID password. Student workers use their student work account password.
- Click Calendar, located near the bottom left corner of your Outlook inbox window.
- In the Home tab, select Open Calendar.
- Here, you can select From Address Book… , From Room List…, or Open Shared Calendar...
- Enter the display name (e.g., ~ITS – Conference Room 102A) or resource number (e.g., resource0010) of the calendar. Double-click the calendar from the search results.
The calendar will be displayed.
