Beginning February 14th, 2022, all Office 365 email-enabled user accounts will feature an Online Archive mailbox. An archive mailbox is an additional mailbox that appears alongside your primary mailbox to store email, doubling your storage space. All emails older than 2 years will be transferred to the Online Archive. Below are instructions on how to manually set or remove the automatic Archive.

Open and login to Outlook
Right click the inbox whose settings you wish to change
Go down to Properties
Select Policy
In the Online Archive section Click the drop down menu
Here you can set how often items will be sent to the Online Archive or can alternatively select Never to retain the emails in your main Inbox.
In the Folder Policy section you can change settings to auto delete emails after a certain period as well.
