Users may notice their Latitude 7400 is no longer producing sound and the audio devices are not available. The common the solution is to download and install updated sound drivers. This guide details the process of downloading and installing the new drivers.

\uD83D\uDCD8 Instructions

  1. Click here to download the update or navigate to the Dell driver download page and click on the Download button.

  2. Run the downloaded .exe file.

  3. Click Install in the application window that pops up. A new window will pop up after a few moments.

  4. Click Next twice and the installation of the new driver should start.

  5. Make sure that you check the box for Yes, I want to restart my computer now or ensure that you restart your computer in order to complete the process.

  6. Click Finish. to complete the install and initiate the reboot of your computer.
