Discussions in Ultra Course View

Discussions are the Ultra Course View equivalent of Discussions Boards in Original Course View. Discussions are focused around a single topic or initial post made by the instructor. Students can then post replies to both the original post, but also to other students’ comments to the initial instructor post.

Getting Started with Discussions

Instructors looking to use Discussions in the Ultra Course can begin with Creating Discussions in Ultra Course View. Discussions can be graded or ungraded, instructors looking to use graded discussions can enable grading by checking the Grade Discussion option found under Discussion Board Settings.

Organizing Discussions

Much like in Course Content, Discussions can be organized into folders. Instructors can refer to Creating Discussion Folders in Ultra Course View for more information on creating folders in the Discussions tab.
