When Will my Course be Created in HuskyCT?

Courses in HuskyCT can be created through one of three processes. For each method, the course is queued for import into HuskyCT. The import process is run up to three times a day, though the exact time and frequency of import depend on the semester. For a specific schedule, please email the HuskyCT admins directly.

Requesting a Course Import from PeopleSoft

With this method, your course is queued directly at a time of your choosing and will be available at the very next import for that specific semester.

Emailing the HuskyCT Admins

Your course will be queued for import when it is processed by HuskyCT admins. You will receive an email confirmation when a HuskyCT admin completes this process.

Periodic Imports

This method of import is the most variable. The periodic import that HuskyCT admins run is a snapshot of the available courses in PeopleSoft at the time of the snapshot.

It is a standalone snapshot, meaning any changes made to courses after this time (instructor removals, course additions, or deletions), will not be reflected in HuskyCT. Because instructor removals are not processed by HuskyCT, automatic imports will not begin until after student registration begins for that semester; instructor adds occur normally.
