University Supplier Diversity Program
Summary
The University Supplier Diversity Program (USDP) App is a Microsoft PowerApp created for the intent of recording and reporting on small and minority business enterprise (S/MBE) spend by General Contractors (GC) hired for major university projects.
Each month, the Procurement Department works with the GC companies to capture and report to the Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities (CHRO) on the amount paid to individual vendors listed on the active SMBE Supplier Diversity Directory maintained by CHRO. Each company must submit a report for each project they are working on.
The USDP app leverages the M365 suite of application to record and retain the data collected. Data is stored in SharePoint Lists. Power Automate flows are used to integrate the SP lists with the application. Flows are also used to update project data directly from the AiM Application and vendor data from and Excel Table.
