Institutional email accounts for faculty and staff are intended for business purposes. Emails and attachments sent from or received in your university email account are considered public records that are subject to disclosure under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA).
Faculty and staff email is on Microsoft 365. Students email is also moving to this platform in 2024.
