There are two ceiling microphones to capture both presenter and student voices.
There are two room cameras on opposite ends of the lab.
This room has an HDMI cable available at the front of the room at the technology rack. There is also a USB-C HDMI and a second HDMI cable available for laptops at the end of the counter near the back of the room.
Using the technology

The Microphones and Camera are sent to your laptop through the white USB-A cable. This cable must be plugged into your laptop if you want to use the room’s devices during your conference.
The HDMI and USB-C HDMI cables carry your laptop’s image out to the projector. The USB-A cable brings the camera and microphones in to your laptop. To learn more, visit Web Conferencing in a UConn Room
Both room cameras are always sent to your laptop through the USB-A cable. Within your video conferencing program you must choose which camera you would like to use. You may switch back and forth between them during the call.
The touch panel in the room allows you to move those cameras.
Note that the touch panel says Camera to Control. The directional pad (D-Pad) will allow you to move/zoom that camera. Once you have the camera in the desired position, you may press-and-hold one of the Camera Presets buttons to save the position/zoom. If you move the camera again, you may simply tap on that Preset button to return the camera to the saved orientation.
Audio Inputs/Outputs
When you plug in the USB-A cable into your laptop, you may see a handful of devices appear in your Camera and Microphone choice menu.
Be sure to choose Extron HDMI for your output, and the DMP Plus for the input.
Look for HDMI for your output (speaker), and DMP for your input (microphone).
Camera Choice
Both cameras are always sent to your laptop. Choose the PTZ330 camera that has your desired view.
