When you are using a Webex room, you may want to keep the meeting private and prevent others from inadvertently joining. To keep the Room secure, use the Room Lock feature. All UConn classroom/department Personal Rooms begin in an unlocked state. On the contrary, the Personal Rooms of students, faculty, and staff begin in a locked state.
- The Room Lock is global, this means it bars all entry regardless of who the participant is.
- If a participant drops out, possibly due to poor Wi-Fi on their end, you will have to re-admit them.
A Participant will be removed from the lobby if they are not admitted within 6 hours.
