Faculty, staff, and students at the University of Connecticut have access to Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365). Microsoft 365 is a collection of communication and productivity apps and includes Office software suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc). Through UConn's license with Microsoft, our community has access as along as they are an active employee or student.
Active students at UConn have access to all the apps within Microsoft 365, except for Bookings, Power BI, and Outlook. At UConn, faculty, staff, and student employees have email accounts in Outlook, the email app in Microsoft 365. Students have G Suite accounts and use /wiki/spaces/IKB/pages/10726900303 for university email.
You can access the apps available to you online at email.uconn.edu. Log in with your university email address and NetID password. From the online portal, you can download Office software and install Teams.
