Follow the steps below in order to update a given group within Everbridge. Ensure that the CSV file that is to be process, adheres to the requirements outlined in in CSV File Format & Requirements document.

Anyone who can do steps 1 - X below, can do this task!

Login into Everbridge


 Using NetID/NetID Password login URL: 

 Break-glass login URL:

 From Dashboard, make a note of total records in Everbridge

 Hover-over "Contacts" menu at the top and then click on "Groups" sub-menu item

 Click on the Group Name from the left

 Scroll to the bottom of the page and make a note of total records in the group

6Hover-over "Contacts" menu at the top and then click on "Uploads" sub-menu item

7Click "Upload to Portal"

8Click "Upload Contacts" and locate the file to be processed

IMPORTANT:

Select "Update" option and click on "Update to portal" button

Everbridge will show an alert box; click "OK"

11Locate the record that was processed; it should be at the top. Click on the View icon

Verify:

Loaded without error is >0

Loaded with error is 0

Not Loaded - critical error is 0

13Go to Dashboard and make a note of total records in Everbridge

14Repeat Steps 3 – 5

15Notify customer; you may wish to communicate the stats the way I do. My email template is given below

*Delta for Everbridge TOTAL Records: expected value: 0; any other value is a bad thing---most likely cause: ensure CSV is per requirements!
