If you're using iClicker Cloud, you can download the polling software from the iClicker website. If you're using the computer in the classroom, you can install it on a USB device and run it from there.  If you're using a laptop, you can install it on your laptop.  When using a laptop, be sure to bring an iClicker base with you if your students will be using the iClicker Remote to participate in the polling.  If all students are using the iClicker Student app (formerly called REEF) then the base is not needed.

  1. Open the iClicker Cloud application
  2. Move your mouse over the course and click Start Class
  3. Click Poll
  4. Open your presentation software which will also display the polling questions on a slide
  5. When you open a slide with a polling question click the green Play button for multiple-choice questions or click the drop down arrow to the right of Multiple Choice and select your question type.

  6. Press stop once students have responded.

  7. Optionally show the results or continue with your presentation.
  8. Click the arrow to go back to the original menu

  9. Click End to close the application once the class is complete.
