Faculty, staff, students and student employees can may access room calendars shared calendars (mostly for conference rooms) in Office 365 / Outlook.

There are two ways to access room calendars:

The permissions granted to you determine your ability to update a calendar:

  • Read-only access allows

    viewing of

Room Calendar in Outlook on the Web 

  1. Sign

    into the Office 365 online portal

    in to Outlook on the Web by going to 

    https://

    email.uconn.edu and clicking on Office 365.

  2. Login

  13. On the Calendars page, select Add Calendar.

  14. Select Add from directory in the left-hand menu and enter the shared calendar into the field. This can be added using the resource number (e.g., resource4370) or display name (

    of the calendar and hit Enter

  15. Select which calendar group you would like to add it to using the dropdown menu and click the Add button.

  1. At the bottom left corner, click on the calendar icon.

  3. In the drop-down bar, select Open Shared Calendar...

  4. Click Name...

  5. In the top-left search bar, type in the name of the resource.

  6. Select the shared calendar from the list and click OK.

  7. Click OK.

  8. The shared calendar will now appear in the left sidebar. Click the checkmark next to it for it to be displayed.
