Switching from Text to the Duo Mobile App

If you already have Duo set up on your mobile device but did not install the app on your phone, follow these steps below.
Download the Duo app
Download: iOS App Store

Visit Device Management Portal and

sign in with your NetID and NetID password.
Click on Manage Devices and enter your UConn email address and then enter your NetID password.
Click on Add a device.
Choose Duo Mobile.
Enter your new phone number and then confirm that it was entered correctly.
Click Next if you have already installed the Duo Mobile app.
Open the Duo Mobile app and click on + Add then click on Use QR code.
Scan the QR code with your phone’s camera.
The new account will be added to Duo as “University of Connecticut”. You may leave this name as it is.
